HIV/AIDS in Hungary
This report assesses the situation of HIV/AIDS in Hungary in 2004 from a NGO perspective. Even if HIV prevalence remains low in Hungary, its prevention & care programs seem inadequate (lack of confidentiality, centralisation of medical services, shortage for some treatments and lack of local funding for NGOs). Prevention strategies towards vulnerable groups also have to be improved.
