This study provides an overview of the socio-demographic characteristics of the Sub-Saharan African migrants in Switzerland, its organisational structures, forms of communication, and media-relevant aspects. Makes comparisons with other European countries. It points to the opportunities and difficulties of primary prevention of the entire group and of prevention for people living with HIV/AIDS, with a special focus on gender-specific issues. Abstracts in French and English.
