We’re laying plans for the largest meeting of viral hepatitis civil society groups in Glasgow next year. The workshop will bring together patient groups, policy-makers, public health experts, the media, global funders and key industry. The aim is to advance the process of establishing national strategies in all countries that need them through practical seminars and workshops that look at key issues like monitoring, funding, advocacy and implementation. As well as holding our first physical Annual General Meeting we want to use the event to help our members improve their relationship with their government, to improve advocacy, public relations and fundraising skills and to build a truly international hepatitis community.

If you are an Alliance member group we will pay for one delegate to attend. If you would like to consider bringing more, you may want to start thinking about applying for specific funding.

We would also appreciate your input as we begin to plan the foci of the event: what would you like to make sure is discussed? Get in touch at contact@worldhepatitisalliance.org to have your say on the programme.
