Life Ball, Europe’s largest annual AIDS charity event, will be held in Vienna on Saturday, 17 July as a celebration in solidarity with AIDS 2010. Organized by AIDS LIFE, an independent non-profit organization with the objective of raising money to support people in areas of the world most affected by HIV and AIDS, Life Ball attracts approximately 40,000 Viennese, world-famous personalities and international media. The demand for tickets to attend this spectacular gala is very high. AIDS 2010 delegates will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Life Ball when sales begin in April. Event organizers have reserved a limited number of tickets (150 EUR) for AIDS 2010 delegates. The chance to purchase tickets to the event will only be offered to registered and fully paid AIDS 2010 delegates. All paid delegates who express interest will be entered into a lottery with a random drawing in mid-May.
