The European HIV Legal Forum
AIDS Action Europe presents a report on access to HIV services for migrants with irregular status in Europe. That includes, access to testing HIV and STIs, prevention, treatment and support. The report is based on 16 countries legal survey and was prepared as a part of the European HIV Legal Forum (EHLF).
One of the key findings of this project phase was that in some countries, same obstacles to accessing preventions, testing, treatment and care services apply to citizens or residents who do not have documents or a valid health insurance as to migrants in irregular situations. The full report can be download here.

Accessing HIV prevention, testing, treatment care and support in Europe as a migrant with irregular status in Europe: A comparative 16-country legal survey

In the 2014-2015 project phase the European HIV Legal Forum produced a comparative legal report based on legal survey from 10 European countries (France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain and the United Kingdom). In the latest project phase of 2016-2017, the EHLF was extended to 16 countries and delivered an updated legal report and advocacy tool.

One of the key findings of this project phase was that in some countries, same obstacles to accessing preventions, testing, treatment and care services apply to citizens or residents who do not have documents or a valid health insurance as to migrants in irregular situations.

Access to HCV related services in prison settings in Europe: A community perspective

The following report is a part of the research component and has been prepared by EATG members and associates. It covers the topic of HCV in the penitentiary system and consists of a general overview of the situation in the WHO Europe region and a more in-depth snapshot of six case countries. All data collection on the case countries was conducted by local people, working with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), or EATG staff.
The purpose of the report is to document gaps and positive developments in the treatment and care for prisoners in selected European and Central Asian countries. This report intend to support the advocacy activities of community groups and organisations by providing them with information and insights of both problems and possibilities of how their local systems may be improved and as a result expand the access to services for inmates.
