Accessing HIV prevention, testing, treatment care and support in Europe as a migrant with irregular status in Europe: A comparative 16-country legal survey

European-HIV-Legal-Forum

In the 2014-2015 project phase the European HIV Legal Forum produced a comparative legal report based on legal survey from 10 European countries (France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Spain and the United Kingdom). In the latest project phase of 2016-2017, the EHLF was extended to 15 countries and delivered an updated legal report and advocacy tool. One of the key findings of this project phase was that in some countries, same obstacles to accessing preventions, testing, treatment and care services apply to citizens or residents who do not have documents or a valid health insurance as to migrants in irregular situations.
