Call for Interest - Training of Trainers on Harm Reduction in the Context Chemsex

We are excited to announce our second round of Training of Trainers (ToT) on Harm Reduction in the Context of Chemsex.   This ToT aims to build and strengthen the capacity of AAE member organisations that offer sexual health services to GBQMSM and are willing to build/improve their services in the context of chemsex and/or to harm reduction providers willing to expand their services towards chemsex, ensuring they are inclusive and responsive to the needs of the communities. EU Health Policy Platform Annual Meeting – Stakeholders’ Dialogue: Joint Statements, Study results and discussion

The annual meeting of the EU Health Policy Platform will be held on 19 April. AAE Poster "Legal and Policy Barriers to the Provision of Community-based testing services in Europe and Central Asia"

At HepHIV 2023, AAE presented the poster "Legal and Policy Barriers to the Provision of Community-based testing services in Europe and Central Asia"

The poster is a result of the project Community Led and Based HIV Services - Key to Ending the HIV Epidemic in Europe and Central Asia which was developed in partnership with CEEISCAT and LILA Milano and ran for 20 months in 2022-2023. The project focused on increasing, adapting, and improving community based testing services for HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and other sexually-transmitted infections in Europe and Central Asia.

Prevention and control of infectious diseases among people who inject drugs

This joint guidance by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) and the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) aims to support policy-makers and public health/social programme planners by providing an evidence base for developing national strategies, policies, and programmes for preventing and controlling infections and infectious diseases among people who inject drugs. It also provides practice considerations and aims to inform the monitoring and evaluation of prevention and control strategies, policies, and programmes.
