The study analyzed problems faced by women living with HIV, who were abused after being diagnosed with HIV. The uniqueness of the study lies in the fact that it was developed, organized and conducted by a community of women living with HIV and vulnerable to HIV as part of the regional campaign against gender-based violence “There is no excuse for violence!” The study involved 464 women living with HIV survivors of violence and 120 professional women from 12 countries in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region (EECA).
