This publication discribes standards for the distribution of drug consumption utensils for different institutions. In addition, recommendations for documentation, work safety and employees qualification are formulated.
In connection with the much higher prevalence and the easy transmission of hepatitis C infections, for example, through the reuseage and sharing of consumption items such as water, filters, spoons, but also crack pipes and sniff tubes, the qualified drug consumtion utensils programs become more and more important.
