AAE's Online Member and Partner Meeting 2020
The AIDS Action Europe Member and Partner Meeting 2020 took place online on November 10th. This year the meeting was to have our members and partners come together face-to-face to discuss AAE’s future strategy for 2022-2025. And even though it turned to be impossible to meet face-to-face this time, we decided to make the most out of this year and decided to shift the actual meeting online, which was preceded by a multi-phase consultation process in order to involve as many of our members and partners as possible into the development of the future Strategy.
OPEN CALL FOR MEMBER AND PARTNER ORGANISATIONS: BECOME STEERING COMMITTEE OF AAE
We currently have 3 vacancies in our Steering Committee for a 3-year term of 2021 – 2023, starting on 1. Jan 2021.
AIDS Action Europe is governed by a Steering Committee of currently 8 persons composed by individuals from members of AAE. It acts as the governing body on all programmatic issues concerning policy, strategy, finance, monitoring and evaluation.

The Steering Committee is striving to achieve a good balance on gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, HIV-status, expertise and geographical coverage. Applications from people living with HIV and representatives of other key populations, (gay men and other MSM, transgender people, sex workers, people who use drugs, people with migration experience, people with incarceration experience) are given preferential consideration.
East European Conference 2020 - Virtual Conference
Eastern European conference will take place on Monday, 14th of December 2020 on the topic “Is HIV Work Human Rights Work?”. The conference was originally planned to be held in Berlin in March but had to be cancelled due to the Corona Pandemic. This conference is based on the discussions and outcomes of the conference "HIV in Eastern Europe - the unnoticed epidemic?!" from 2017.
The conference will be held in English, German and Russian.

European Community health worker online survey (ECHOES) is the first international and multi-language survey among
community health workers (CHWs) working to improve the sexual health of gay, bisexual and other MSM in Europe.
