Are you ready for Quality Improvement?
On July 11-12 AAE conducted its Quality Improvement (QI) Workshop on Combination Prevention and Chemsex Interventions. Altogether 13 representatives of 12 member and partner organisations were trained on how to select and use one or more of the tools to improve and measure quality and impact of their interventions and projects that were developed in the Quality Action Joint Action.
As part of our work on affordability of medication and diagnostics, in June 2019 AIDS Action Europe conducted a webinar titled "Global Intellectual Property Regimes and Schemes". The recording is finally online!
The 29th EU HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis and Tuberculosis Civil Society Forum took place on June 17 and 18, 2019, in Luxembourg. Agenda, executive summary and all presentation are available online.
We are happy to announce the date for the AIDS Action Europe Member and Partner Meeting: Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Berlin.
The AAE Steering Committee initiated this meeting for the first time in 2016 to identify needs and demands of AAE’s member organisations. The topic for this year meeting is the criminalisation of HIV non-disclosure, exposure and transmission including its impact on partner notifications strategies.

Global AIDS update 2019: Communities at the centre
According to the UNAIDS’ Global AIDS Update 2019, Communities at the centre, the pace of progress in reducing new HIV infections, increasing access to treatment and ending AIDS-related deaths is slowing down, with some countries making impressive gains while others are experiencing rises in new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths.
The Street Support Good Practice Collection addresses social services, including social entrepreneurs and adult trainers, municipalities and local governments. The Collection wants to make a substantial contribution to improve current service provision for people who use drugs and/or alcohol in public spaces.
The AIDS Action Europe Clearinghouse is an online platform where NGOs, policy makers, networks and other stakeholders in Europe and Central Asia can share key documents and good practice materials. Check out more materials at hivaidsclearinghouse.eu
