The overall objective of the training was to improve the knowledge of health and social sector personnel working in prisons to help them implement effective OST programs in their countries, looking at the wider harm reduction agenda and at the continuity of care for prisoners who use drugs, who are HIV+ or co-infected (HCV, HBV, TB).

The training was designed on the basis of the outcomes and conclusions of the international seminar held in Warsaw in March 2017. Mostly the same representatives and trainers participated, in order to ensure the continuity of work.
