Join us for the latest on sexual health of MSM in Europe at the RAI Auditorium on Monday, July 23rd from 5pm-7pm – immediately before the opening ceremony.

The ESTICOM satellite symposium will preview highlights from two surveys:  The 2017 European MSM Internet Survey (EMIS) and the European Community Health Worker OnlinE Survey (ECHOES).  We will also discuss first experiences from the new Training Programme for Community Health Workers (CHW) working with MSM.

EMIS 2017 collected data on risk and precautionary behaviours, health promotion needs, prevention intervention performance, and sexual health morbidities from MSM in 39 European countries, the Lebanon, Israel, Canada, and the Philippines. Approximately 135,000 men participated.

ECHOES was the first ever online survey addressing CHW working with MSM in Europe. Data on the scope of services offered, motivations and job satisfaction as CHW, as well as trainings received and training needs were collected. More than 1000 CHW from 36 European countries participated. As a result, a new Training Programme for CHW working with MSM has been designed and is being implemented for 21 EU countries, Switzerland, Moldova and Russia in 2018.

We look forward to welcoming you at the ESTICOM symposium on Monday at 5PM!
