Qualitative analysis on the social-health status of the Spanish Roma population in order to pinpoint their principal needs. It contributes to the elimination of existing health inequalities. In several sections the following subjects are discussed: health (incl HIV/AIDS), health equality and health promotion; the Roma community and health: a diagnosis for action; the Roma community and health: recommendations for action.
