In order to improve harm reduction services, mobile outreach units (busses) will be introduced in Estonia in 2018. These will provide harm reduction services (needle exchange, rapid HIV testing, counseling, etc.) for PWID in Estonia's capital city Tallinn and the North-Eastern cities where injecting drug use is most prevalent. In the future mobile outreach units will also provide methadone and other treatment services. In order to provide OST, ART or other treatment services in Estonian mobile outreach units, legislation needs to be changed.

We are planning a one day workshop on integrated care, focused on introducing the mobile outreach unit in Estonia. This workshop is approximately for 40 participants from different areas – nurses and doctors, general practitioners’, NGO representatives, pharmacists, etc. and the main speaker will be Dr Al Story PhD FFPH MPH RGN, Clinical Lead and Manager for Find&Treat, University College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Colleagues from Latvia will also be present sharing their experiences.
