In early 2016, HA-REACT is organising five Logical Framework Approach (LFA) Workshops to improve the project’s implementation.

LFA means participatory and analytical, comprehensive planning, with a strong orientation to objectives in order to ensure sustainable impacts. Through the LFA process, analytical and comprehensive pictures are produced showing problems and development needs and, based on a problem analysis, objectives and activities and their hierarchical correlations.

A Logical Framework Matrix is one result from the LFA process, describing the hierarchy of objectives, indicators, sources of verification and assumptions. Assumptions are external factors which need to be considered but which are out of the project’s own direct control.

A Logical Framework based Work Plan Matrix is one end product. This is a practical tool for programme and component (in the case of HAREACT, the so-called “Work Package”) implementation, coordination and annual planning and budgeting.

Scope of the task

  • Planning of five LFA workshops together with Work Packages leaders and the HA-REACT Project Manager
