Participation in training programs, share experience with foreign partners, participation in HIV/AIDS prevention programs, employment programs and projects to defend rights of vulnerable young people.
Since our organization has a 7 year experience in training volunteers among vulnerable young people we can share experience on development and promotion of volunteer movement. Share experience on educational programs among vulnerable youth.
The most interesting and successful activities undertaken by PF “Ashyk kogam”: 1. “March in memory of AIDS victims together with Peace Corps in Kazakhstan”; 2. Project for vulnerable youth from the project to control AIDS in Central Asia 2007-2008. In 2009 we continued development of volunteer movement among rural youth at risk living in the region of Western Kazakhstan. In accordance with the expert donor committee evaluation the project was recognized “The best project on HIV/AIDS prevention in Kazakhstan”. It was the only one in Central Asia; 3. Project on healthy lifestyles among children in orphanages 2009; 4. In November 2009 in Uralsk in cooperation with the Embassy of USA in Kazakhstan our NGO implemented a project "Small stories of a big city" - photography art for young children in orphanages.
