We hope to establish new partnerships with organizations abroad. As member of AIDS Action Europe we will be able to exchange experience with other organizations for a long time working in the field of drug addiction and other problems related to this chronic disease. We consider that AIDS Action Europe has a valuable role of facilitating communication, information sharing and promoting harm reduction within the region. We hope that partnership will help us support and implement innovative and based on principle of humanity methods in our country. Unfortunately for now drug users and representatives of other vulnerable groups are outcasts. Therefore it is key for our organization – as the first self-support organization in Caucasus – to know better about work of NGOs in other countries.

GO New Vector is ready to partner and cooperate with other members of AIDS Action Europe. We are ready to share information about drug use and HIV in Georgia, also to advocate and represent interests of drug users and HIV positive persons.

NGO New Vector is working in the field of harm reduction with a mission to facilitate healthy life of drug users, PLWHA and people with hepatitis B and C; and to facilitate their re-integration into the society. New vector is a member of the Georgian harm reduction network and Director of the organization is a Steering Committee member of Eurasian Harm Reduction Network (EHRN). Organisation is implementing syringe exchange program, advocacy projects and case management of drug users and PLWHA. New Vector provides trainings on harm reduction and on the rights ensures by national and international legislation. NGO New Vector was actively involved in development of changes to the national legislation.
