Our mission:
Ceaseless devotion to health and well-being of people, in particular - protecting, supporting and promoting health for all people, inspiring leaders through innovative and individualised management and development programmes
Our goals:
• To preserve and improve the quality of life among men by reducing the levels of premature mortality;
• To facilitate availability of education, social and health services for men of all ages and their partners;
• To improve physical, mental, reproductive and sexual health of men and their partners, so that they could live a full and happy life;
• To encourage support and involvement of governments in the countries of Foundation's activities in programmes aimed at promoting health and well-being of men and their partners.
We strive to base our work on best practices, involving many men in our projects, and to highlight a new focus on the role of men in counteracting socially significant diseases, including HIV/AIDS. We believe that broad involvement of men in social support programmes has grand potential in improving the quality of their lives and the lives of their families and partners.
The programmes developed and implemented by 'menZDRAV' Foundation are addressing the needs of men, regardless of their social status, nationality, religion, sexual orientation or HIV status. At the same time, we give special attention to issues of gender equality and justice as one of the main determinants of success in promoting well-being of modern society.
Community-oriented programmes that we implement have been developed with close participation of community members and leaders.
