Our mission: to improve quality of a life of PLHIV, by involving of all interested stakeholders for providing psychological, social, advisory, legal aid, education and advocacy on availability of medical products and diagnostics for PLHIV in Estonia.
Unification of civil society HIV organizations, peer-to-peer consultations on adherence to HAART (Talinn, Narva, Northeast), social support, advocating for PLHIV rights, legal counselling, informational Internet resource www.ehpv.ee, online communication (forum, advertisements, online counselling), newsletter, groups of psychosocial support (Tallinn, Northeast, Tartu), education, trainings and summer schools for clients, positive prevention, conducting campaigns, advocacy activities.
UNAIDS award “Red Ribbon” 2008. The network operates in Estonia and internationally. Its goal is to help PLHIV take central position in shaping policies, developing services and monitoring. Under the initiative and direct participation of the network a union of partners in the field of HIV (12 NGOs) was established. Participation in development of the National Report for the Special Session of the UN General Assembly in 2006, 2008 and 2010. Participation in the Planning commission and procurement of ARV drugs. Taking part in the Governmental commission on HIV/AIDS.
