Estonian Network is a relatively young organization, but it has succeeded in uniting important non-governmental organizations that have been working fruitfully on HIV/AIDS projects, embracing different directions of this problem - work with HIV+ men and women, pregnant and infants; men and women drug addicts; people who got infected sexually; men who are having sex with other men; and convicts.
NGO Estonian Network of People Living with HIV At the moment they are doing their work in ways: • Psychosocial help for HIV infected drug addicts • Psychosocial work and counseling for HIV infected people in prisons of Estonia They are aimed to following target groups: • HIV infected drug dependent men • HIV infected drug dependent prisoners, who experienced discrimination • HIV infected men who have sexual relations with men • HIV infected women who have or will become mothers • HIV infected adolescent girls • HIV infected minors who are dependent on illegal drugs.
- Mobilization and activization of community of people living with HIV. - Coordination of actions in the fields of prevention, treatment, care and support. - Raising funds and carrying out joint work. - Tracking situation and influencing for improved quality of life of people living with HIV.
