Our young organisation was established to offer support to people in difficult situations and social environments, and to reduce stigma and discrimination against these people, protect their rights and legal interests. HIV/AIDS approaches require coordination of all affected people and people who care - only together we will be able to stop the spread of the disease and mitigate negative consequences. We are able and ready to work at the national level.
We've been working in the sphere of HIV/AIDS for more than six years. Our aim is to provide various types of support to people in vulnerable social conditions. We build trust-based relations with our clients and know the problem from the inside. We fight HIV/AIDS, not people living with HIV. Our work covers six regions of Ukraine.
Since June 2011 we are implementing a project 'OST advocacy for access to prescribed buprenorphine in Chernovtsy region of Ukraine'. Our goal is to improve access of people on OST to prescribed maintenance medications, which would make them less dependent on OST sites and have an opportunity to travel. It's a difficult task, but we have planned various activities to achieve our goal!
