ARAS Iasi is looking for international partners for developing prevention programmes for vulnerable groups (sex workers, homeless, roma) and for youth people. Also we are open to any initiative of developing other programmes on advocacy, health care, reproductive health and research.
ARAS Iasi could offer 15 years of experience on youth programmes about sexual education and prevention of HIV and other STD (Sexual Transmitted Diseases), expertise in working with vulnerable groups and methodology of outreach work. We also could offer good practices in working with volunteers on prevention and social inclusion programmes.
Implementing the project "Preventing HIV and other STDs among most at risk groups (sex workers, street children, roma people)" financed by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria between 2005–2010. The project ended on 30 June 2010, and we are still able to sustain the activities of outreach work with almost 1000 beneficiaries.
