On June 22nd, 2016, AAE hosted the presentation of the “aMASE - advancing Migrants Access to health Services in Europe” study results, presented by Matthias Wienold (Ethno-Medizinisches Zentrum e.V., Hannover). aMASE is a study funded by the European Commission and part of EuroCoord (Enhancing clinical and epidemiological HIV research in Europe through cohort collaboration). One work package of EuroCoord is specifically dedicated to Migrant Health. Find more details here: www.amase.eu and www.eurocoord.net. The presentation was attended by 12 participants representing service organisations in the field of HIV/AIDS and multipliers.

Accessing HIV prevention, testing, treatment, care and support in Europe is also the topic of a survey conducted by AAE that focused on migrants with irregular status. The report is available online on the HIV/AIDS Clearinghouse.
