The AIDS Action Europe clearinghouse is a central point where NGOs, policy makers, networks and other stakeholders in Europe and Central Asia can share key documents and good practice materials.
In this section you can log on to the clearinghouse and submit your own HIV/AIDS good practice materials. You can also edit or delete your previous uploads. Don't have an account yet? Create one here as well and share your good practices with your colleagues in Europe and Central Asia.
A new literature review published in the journal AIDS and Behavior finds that concerns about HIV-related stigma can discourage pregnant women in low-income settings from seeking services for their own health and to prevent mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) of HIV. These findings highlight a serious challenge to international goals to virtually eliminate mother-to-child HIV transmission and reduce HIV-related maternal mortality by 50 percent by 2015.
